1. Users are welcome to recommend Library acquisitions by submitting the recommendation forms together with the information (such as editorial reviews, table of contents or the bibliographical sources, from which you select the specific titles) of the materials to the Library. The recommendation forms are available upon request and can be downloaded from the IFTM Webpage.
  2. Student's recommendation should be first endorsed by the professors/lecturers of the corresponding subjects or by the Academic Coordinator.
  3. Recommendations will then be submitted to the Library for opinion regarding the interest and relevance of an acquisition before passing to the Administrative Council for approval.
  4. Generally, the library do not acquire duplicate copies, a maximum of 2 copies can be acquired if it is a course reserve items suggested by faculty members.

We welcome you to recommend books that help to facilitate teaching, research and learning.

To avoid duplicate recommendations, please check the online catalogue prior submitting your requests for purchase. If the book is under “processing” in the Library Recommendation System (Note: this service is not available from off-campus) and you need it in urgent, you may request to speed up our cataloging process by filling in the form.
